Working Together
- What does a typical engagement look like?
- Most engagements start with a discovery call to understand your goals, followed by an audit or assessment phase, then a strategic roadmap with clear deliverables and timelines.
- How long do projects usually take?
- It depends on scope. A focused audit or strategy project typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Larger implementations like website builds or full marketing system overhauls can run 8 to 12 weeks.
- Do you work with agencies or only directly with businesses?
- Both. I work directly with businesses as a consultant and also partner with agencies as a specialist resource for analytics, SEO, or performance work.
Services & Expertise
- What industries do you specialize in?
- I have deep experience in real estate, professional services, e-commerce, and local businesses. The frameworks I use are adaptable to most B2B and B2C industries.
- Can you help with just one area like SEO or analytics?
- Absolutely. Many clients engage me for a single discipline. I also offer integrated strategies when multiple channels need to work together.
- Do you build websites or just consult on strategy?
- Both. I build production websites on Next.js and also consult on strategy, analytics, and marketing systems independently of web development.
Pricing & Process
- How is pricing structured?
- Most projects are scoped as fixed-fee engagements based on deliverables. Ongoing advisory work is available on a monthly retainer. I will always provide a clear proposal before any work begins.
- Do you offer ongoing support after a project is complete?
- Yes. Many clients transition from a project engagement to a monthly advisory retainer for ongoing optimization, reporting, and strategic guidance.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Monthly retainers can be cancelled with 30 days notice. Project work is billed against milestones, and any unstarted milestones can be cancelled without penalty.
Technical
- What tech stack do you recommend?
- For most projects, I recommend Next.js with Tailwind CSS, Payload CMS, and Vercel for hosting. This stack is fast, flexible, and cost-effective at scale.
- Can you work with our existing tools and platforms?
- Yes. I work within your existing stack whenever possible. If a migration or change makes sense, I will explain the trade-offs clearly before recommending it.
- Do you handle hosting and maintenance?
- I set up hosting infrastructure on Vercel or similar platforms and can provide ongoing maintenance. Many clients also manage hosting in-house after the initial setup.
